v Bowmore 1989 LBV (Last Bottled Vintage) is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2016. The whisky has a deep golden color and is aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for 27 years. On the nose, it has a sweet aroma of honey, toffee, and dried fruits. On the palate, it has a smooth and mellow taste of vanilla, toffee, and dried fruits, with a hint of smoke. The finish is long, with a lingering smoky sweetness.
