Bowmore 1989 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1989 and aged in ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of 25 years. The whisky has a light, golden color and a nose of sweet vanilla, honey, toffee, and dried fruit. On the palate, it has a smooth, creamy texture with flavors of caramel, toffee, and dried fruit. The finish is long and lingering with notes of oak and smoke. This is a complex whisky with a great balance of sweetness and smokiness.
