Bowmore 1989 CA
Bowmore 1989 CA is a single malt whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. The whisky was distilled in 1989 and then aged in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks for over two decades before being bottled in 2011. It was released as part of the Cask Strength Collection from Bowmore and is a limited edition of only 3,000 bottles. The whisky has a deep amber color and a powerful, smoky aroma with notes of peat, honey, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is intense and complex with flavors of peat smoke, vanilla, toffee, and dried fruits. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of sweetness.
