Bowmore 1989 BR
Bowmore 1989 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary distillery on Islay. It was released in 2009 as part of the Bowmore Enigma series, a range of limited edition whiskies. This expression was aged for 20 years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at cask strength. It has a deep amber color and aromas of honey, smoke, and dried fruits. On the palate, there are notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and dried fruits. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of sea salt. This whisky is a great example of Bowmore's classic Islay style and is sure to please any whisky connoisseur.
