Bowmore 1989 Bourbon Matured is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Bowmore Distillery on Islay. It is a 25-year-old whisky that has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels for all of its maturation, giving it a strong, sweet and smoky flavor. The whisky is bottled at a cask strength of 57.3% ABV and is non-chill filtered. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of honey, vanilla, citrus, and smoke. On the palate, it is sweet and smoky with notes of dried fruit, nuts, and spices. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke.
