Bowmore 1989 BA
Bowmore 1989 BA is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky that was released in 2019. It was distilled in 1989 and aged for 30 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The whisky has a golden colour and a nose of sweet malt and smoke, with notes of vanilla and honey. On the palate, it is rich and complex with flavours of dried fruits, spices and a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and smooth with a lingering sweetness. This whisky is a great example of the quality and complexity of Bowmore's whisky.
