It was aged in American oak, ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. The whisky has a deep amber color, with a nose of sweet toffee, orange peel, and sherry. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, with flavors of honey, dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and lingering, with a sweet and spicy aftertaste. This whisky is an excellent example of the quality of whisky produced by Bowmore.
