Bowmore 1989 BA is a single malt Scotch whisky that was bottled in 2004. It was distilled at the Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland and aged for 15 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It was bottled at cask strength of 57.3% ABV and is non-chill filtered. The whisky has a deep golden color and aromas of honey, spice, dried fruit, and smoke. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with flavors of toasted oak, vanilla, and dried fruits. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of peat.
