Bowmore 1988 SV
Bowmore 1988 SV is a single cask, single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery. It was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2018, making it 30 years old. The whisky was matured in a single sherry butt for its entire maturation period and bottled at cask strength of 53.9% ABV. It is a limited edition bottling of only 546 bottles. This whisky has a deep golden colour with aromas of toffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is full bodied and complex with flavours of dried fruits, sherry, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming with a hint of smoke.
