Bowmore 1988 SV
Bowmore 1988 SV is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was distilled at the Bowmore Distillery in 1988 and matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It was then bottled in 2020 as part of the Bowmore Small Batch Vintage series. The whisky has a sweet and smoky aroma, with notes of honey, toffee, oak, and peat smoke. On the palate, it has a smooth texture, with flavors of caramel, dried fruit, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of spice.
