This whisky was distilled in 1987 and aged for 25 years in oak casks before being bottled in 2012. It is a limited edition bottling, with only 2,000 bottles released. The whisky has a deep amber color and a nose of rich peat smoke, honey, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is sweet and smoky with flavors of toffee, caramel, and dried fruit. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of oak.
