Bowmore 1984 DL
Bowmore 1984 DL is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery of Bowmore, released as part of the Distiller's Library series. This whisky was distilled in 1984, and bottled at cask strength in 2002. It has a deep golden color, and a nose of peat smoke and sea salt. On the palate, notes of honey and dried fruit mingle with the peat smoke and brine, leading to a long, smoky finish. This is an excellent example of Bowmore's signature style, and is an excellent choice for those looking for a classic Islay whisky.
