Bowmore 1984
Bowmore 1984 is a single malt whisky from the Bowmore Distillery, located on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. It was distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2014, making it a 30-year-old whisky. It is a limited edition release, with only 4,000 bottles available. The whisky is matured in a combination of first-fill Sherry, bourbon and refill casks, giving it a very complex flavor profile. On the nose, it has notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is sweet and rich, with notes of honey, toffee, and dried fruits. The finish is long and sweet, with a lingering smokiness. This whisky is highly sought after, and is a great example of a mature, well-aged single malt.
