Bowmore 1982 SV is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was released in 2009 as part of the Bowmore Single Vintage series. The whisky was distilled in 1982 and matured in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and American oak casks. It is a deep, rich whisky with a complex flavor profile. On the nose, it has notes of dried fruits, toffee, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it has notes of sherry, oak, smoke, and peat. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of sweetness.
