Bowmore 1982 SV is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was released in 2010 as part of the second release in the Bowmore Vault Series. It was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2010 at cask strength of 54.2% ABV. The whisky is a combination of two casks, one ex-bourbon and one ex-sherry, and was matured for 28 years. It is a rich and complex whisky, with notes of peat smoke, toffee, dried fruits, and spices. It is a highly sought-after whisky, with only 710 bottles released.
