Bowmore 1982 DT
Bowmore 1982 Distiller’s Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1982 and aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks for an additional three years. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of sweet honey, toasted oak, and a hint of peat smoke. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich with notes of dried fruits, honey, and subtle peat smoke. The finish is long and complex with a hint of leather, spice, and smoke. This is a limited edition whisky with only 7,000 bottles released in 2004.
