Bowmore 1982 DT
Bowmore 1982 DT (Distillers Edition) is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Bowmore distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 1998. It is a 15 year old whisky and was double-matured in both Oloroso sherry and Bourbon casks, giving it a sweet and smoky flavor. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of vanilla, honey, and peat smoke. On the palate, it has a smooth and sweet taste with notes of caramel, citrus, and a hint of peat. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of peat smoke.
