Bowmore 1982 DT
Bowmore 1982 Distiller's Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2000. This whisky is a combination of two casks, one of which was a bourbon cask and the other a sherry cask. The whisky was then finished in a sherry cask for an additional period of time. This whisky has a deep golden color and a complex flavor profile with notes of smoky peat, sweet honey, toasted oak, and dried fruits. It is an excellent whisky for those who enjoy a bold, smoky flavor.
