Bowmore 1980 SV
Bowmore 1980 SV is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by Bowmore Distillery on Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2009 at cask strength. The whisky has a deep golden hue and a nose of smoky peat, citrus, and leather. On the palate, it is sweet and smoky with notes of honey, sea salt, and spices. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke. This whisky has won numerous awards, including a Gold Medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2009.
