Bowmore 1980 IM
BC Bowmore 1980 IMBC is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2020 as part of the Bowmore 1980 IMBC Series. This whisky is aged in ex-bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks for 40 years, and is bottled at cask strength of 53.2% ABV. It has a deep golden color and a nose of dried fruits, toffee, and oak. On the palate, notes of honey, dark chocolate, and dried fruit are followed by a long, smooth finish. This whisky is a rare and special release that is sure to delight any whisky connoisseur.
