Bowmore 1976 SMWS 3.27 is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1976 at the Bowmore Distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was bottled in October 2015 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) as part of their Cask Strength Collection. This whisky is a full-bodied and smoky whisky with a deep golden color. On the nose, it has aromas of sweet smoke, toffee, and dried fruit. On the palate, it has flavors of peat smoke, leather, and dried fruit. The finish is long and smoky with hints of spice.
