Bowmore 1970
Bowmore 1970 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2002, making it 32 years old. The whisky was matured in first-fill sherry casks, giving it a deep, rich colour and a complex, sweet flavour. It has notes of sherry, dried fruits, leather and smoke, all balanced by a hint of peat. The whisky has won numerous awards, including a Gold Medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2003.
