Bowmore 1968 DT (Distiller's Edition) is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1968 at the Bowmore Distillery on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This whisky has a deep golden hue and a complex aroma of peat smoke, dried fruits, and sherry. The flavour is sweet and spicy, with notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and smoky peat. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering notes of smoke and sherry.
