Bowmore 1968 DT is a single malt whisky from the Bowmore Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1968 and bottled in 2007 by Douglas Laing & Co. It was aged for 39 years in a single, first-fill sherry butt. This whisky has a deep amber color and a nose of sweet dried fruits and peat smoke. The palate is sweet, smoky and spicy with notes of dried fruits, sherry, leather and tobacco. The finish is long and complex with a hint of smoke and spice.
