Bowmore 1966 DL
Bowmore 1966 DL is a rare and highly sought-after single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1966 and bottled in the 1980s by Douglas Laing & Co. Ltd. The whisky was bottled at 43% ABV and is considered to be a very special bottling. The whisky has a deep, smoky aroma with notes of peat, honey and oak. On the palate it is sweet and smoky, with notes of heather, dried fruits and spices. The finish is long and rich, with a lingering smokiness. This is an excellent whisky, and one that is highly sought after by collectors.
