Bowmore 1965
Bowmore 1965 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery, located on the island of Islay in Scotland. It is one of the oldest and rarest whiskies ever released by Bowmore, and is highly sought after by whisky collectors. The whisky was distilled in 1965 and aged in oak casks for over 40 years before being bottled in 2006. It is a limited edition bottling, with only 3,000 bottles released. The whisky has a deep golden colour, with aromas of honey, vanilla, smoke and dried fruits. On the palate, it is smooth and mellow, with notes of peat, smoke, citrus, and spices. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of sweetness.
