Bowmore Bowmore 1964 Black Bowmore is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay-based Bowmore distillery. It is one of the most sought-after and collectible whiskies in the world. It was matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks for over 30 years before being bottled in 1994. The whisky was bottled at a cask strength of 44.5% ABV and it has a deep, dark colour. On the nose, it has aromas of dried fruit, smoke, leather, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex with flavours of sherry, smoke, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and lingering with a smoky sweetness.
