Bowmore Bowmore 1964 Black Bowmore is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bowmore Distillery, located on the Isle of Islay off the west coast of Scotland. It was distilled in 1964, and aged in ex-bourbon casks for over 30 years. The whisky was then bottled in 1994, and is considered to be one of the finest examples of Islay whisky. It is a dark, smoky whisky with a complex flavor profile, featuring notes of peat, oak, vanilla, and citrus. It is a limited edition whisky, and bottles can fetch upwards of $10,000.
