Bowmore 12-year-old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It is made from malted barley, which is dried over peat fires and then distilled in copper stills. The whisky is then matured in oak casks for 12 years, giving it a golden colour and a smoky, peaty flavour. It has a complex aroma of citrus, honey, and smoky peat, and a smooth, sweet taste with a hint of peat.
