Bowmore 11-year-old SMD (Single Malt Distillery) is a single malt scotch whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It is aged for 11 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and then finished in sherry casks. This whisky has a deep golden color and a smooth, sweet taste. The aroma is of peat smoke and sweet fruit, while the flavor is of honey, vanilla, and oak. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke. This whisky is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
