Bowmore 08-year-old is a single malt whisky from the Islay region of Scotland. It is aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for a minimum of 8 years before being bottled. The whisky has a dark golden color and a sweet, smoky flavor with notes of honey, toffee, and fruit. The aroma is of sweet smoke, peat, and dried fruits. On the palate it is smooth and creamy with a hint of spice and a long, smoky finish.
