BenRiach 1978
BenRiach 1978 is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2018 by BenRiach Distillery. The whisky was matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks for 40 years, before being bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.2% ABV. The whisky has a rich and complex aroma with notes of dried fruits, toffee and oak, and a palate of sweet honey, dried fruits and vanilla. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice. BenRiach 1978 is a limited edition release and a highly sought-after whisky.
