Ben Wyvis 1965
Ben Wyvis is a mountain located in the Scottish Highlands, in the Ross and Cromarty area. It is the 14th highest mountain in Scotland, with a height of 3,011 feet. The mountain is a popular destination for hillwalkers, and is the highest mountain in the area. The summit of Ben Wyvis is made up of a large plateau, with several small lochs and a large cairn. The mountain was first climbed in 1965 by a team of climbers from the Scottish Mountaineering Club. The route taken was from the north-east ridge, which is the most popular route today. The area around Ben Wyvis is a designated National Nature Reserve, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including red deer, golden eagles, and ptarmigan.
