Balvenie 1972 Vintage Cask
The Balvenie 1972 Vintage Cask is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Balvenie distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2012. The whisky has been aged for 40 years in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak casks, and bottled at cask strength with no chill-filtration or colouring. The whisky is described as having a nose of honey and toasted oak, with a palate of toffee, dried fruit and spice, and a finish of oak and vanilla.
