The Balvenie 1966 Vintage Cask is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Balvenie distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1966 and aged for 40 years in a single cask before being bottled in 2006. The whisky has a deep golden color and a complex aroma of dried fruit, toffee, honey, vanilla and oak. On the palate, it is smooth and rich, with notes of toffee, dried fruit, honey, spice and oak. The finish is long and sweet, with lingering notes of toffee and oak. This is a rare and sought-after whisky, with only 587 bottles released.
