Ardbeg 1976
Ardbeg 1976 is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1976 at the Ardbeg Distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was bottled in 2006 after maturing in ex-bourbon casks for 30 years. It is a very rare whisky and only a few hundred bottles were produced. The whisky has a deep golden hue and aromas of peat, smoke and sweet malt. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex with notes of honey, smoke and spices. The finish is long and smoky with a hint of sweetness. This whisky is highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs alike.
