Ardbeg 1974
Ardbeg 1974 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Ardbeg Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2006. It is a limited edition expression and is highly sought after by collectors. The whisky is made from 100% malted barley and is aged for 32 years in oak casks. It has a deep golden colour and a smoky, peaty aroma. On the palate, it has a sweet, smoky flavour with hints of dried fruit, nuts and spices. The finish is long and warming with a hint of smokiness.
