Ardbeg 1973 DL is a rare and highly sought-after single malt whisky from the Islay distillery of Ardbeg. Distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2003, this limited edition whisky was released to celebrate the distillery’s 200th anniversary. With only a few hundred bottles ever released, it is one of the rarest and most sought-after Ardbegs ever created. This whisky is a complex, smoky and sweet dram, with aromas of oak, peat smoke, and a hint of citrus. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of dark chocolate, honey, and spices. The finish is long and smoky, with a hint of peat lingering on the tongue.
