Ardbeg 1972
Ardbeg 1972 is a rare and highly sought-after single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery. It was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1997. It was aged in oak casks for 25 years before it was bottled at a natural strength of 46.2% ABV. It is a dark, smoky whisky with a complex flavor profile of peat, spice, and dried fruit. It is considered to be one of the best whiskies of its era, with a limited production of only 1,200 bottles.
