Ardbeg 1966 MI is a rare and highly sought after single malt Scotch whisky from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay. It was distilled in 1966 and bottled in 2006 as part of the distillery's 40th anniversary celebrations. The whisky was matured in refill American oak hogsheads and bottled at a strength of 46.3% ABV. It has a deep golden color and a nose of peat smoke, seaweed, and sweet honey. On the palate, it is rich and smoky with notes of citrus, oak, and spices.
